I really want to thank everyone for helping me out this year from me racing the KTM Cup to now racing a Yamaha R6. It means a lot and I can’t thank you enough. Thanks to Chuck Giacchetto and the entire Westby team for dealing with all of my pestering this past year and welcoming me into their team. I also would like to thank Apex Manufacturing, LLC with Harry Houck and Richard Harris for splitting the cases and replacing the gear box in my R6 two weeks ago when I broke a tooth off of 3rd gear. Sportbike Track Time has been a big supporter of me for a while and it means a lot.
This past weekend I rode at Barber Motorsports Park just trying to practice and get ready for next year when I am racing an R6 full time. I ran pump gas, stock motor, as well as Dunlop tires. In doing so I know that with this off season I will be able to continue to drop my times since this was only my second ever race on a 600 and a handful of trackdays on the bike. I feel good knowing what I was able to do on my worn out 2012 motor and what I will be able to accomplish on a freshened up motor.
It was cool to actually have power coming out of the corners and to hear the awesome Yoshimura exhaust.
