About Me

About Nolan Lamkin

I just recently turned 18 years old, and am from Indianapolis, racing in the Supersport 600 series in 2019. We have started out with a very successful testing program in the off-season and are looking forward to a fruitful 2019.

2017 –

Superstock 600 (first year on 600), MotoAmerica

In 2017, it was my first-year racing on a 600 after being racing in the KTM 390 Cup for the past two years. It was a big year of understanding and working on my riding throughout. I was able to finish in 7th position at the race in Utah. In addition to finishing in 9th at Barber after breaking my collarbone a bare two weeks prior.

2018 –

Supersport 600 (Rookie Year), MotoAmerica

In 2018, I moved up in class, from the Superstock 600 to Supersport 600 class while being the youngest in the class. It was a big learning year, with me being able to gain lots of knowledge for my riding, in addition to being able to acquire a lot of new skills, from working on my own race bike to data acquisition and more.

August 2015- December 2018

High School DIploma with Technical Honors, Carmel High School

I have been attending high school for the past 3 years while racing in the MotoAmerica series, I have taken several classes for mechanical engineering/design, so I am eligible to graduate with a degree with Technical honors while attending the biggest high school in Indiana with 5,000 kids. I was able to graduate a semester early in order to focus on my upcoming racing season, with a 3.4 GPA.

I was invited to try out for the RedBull rookies cup when I was 12 years old and I have been a national champion on my Moriwaki 250 as well as my RS 125. I currently ride and race the Cycle Gear Yamaha R6.
