The best thing I found that you can use to apply grease or anti-seize with is a paintbrush. I personally use Acid Brushes from Harbor Freight and they are great for applying grease to bearings, axles, and anti-seize to nuts and bolts to prevent the galvanic reaction. They are awesome to not have grease all over your hand and you can go back and forth between tasks without having to take time out to clean your hands every… single… time… Ugh.
